Our UPF50+ clothing is produced using Sublimation Dyeing. A digital image of the artwork is printed on special paper with special ink, both specific to this method. The prints are allowed to dry and then go into a high pressure heat press, where the inks turn into a vapor and permeate the fabric. The Wearable Art design is permanently a part of the fabric, unlike traditional screening, where the image will eventually wear off.

Our production facility is on beautiful St. Croix, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The basic premise for our clothing line is that we’re all becoming more conscious of how much time we’re spending in direct sunlight. It’s a fact of life. Our UPF50+ clothing is endorsed by the American Skin Cancer Society. So… if we have to cover up to stay healthy, we might as well do it comfortably and look pretty damn good at the same time.
Innovative Designs
Our unique line features UPF50+ clothing. The PURE-tech moisture-wicking fabric is treated with zinc to defend against odor causing bacteria. In fresh or salt water, take a swim and see how quickly your garment dries! They are lightweight and wonderfully comfortable.
-The Concept-
Everyone enjoys art. We work with fine artists using digitized images of their original paintings and use them in the production of our clothing. Each artist has a selection of images in our catalog for you to choose from. Each artist’s style is dramatically different from the others. We’re keeping it interesting. Each garment you order generates a royalty for these outstanding artists. You’re wearing cool stuff and supporting the arts at the same time. Not bad…
-The Process-

The design is permanently a part of the fabric, unlike traditional screening, where the image will eventually wear off.
Each garment is done individually, by hand, and not from pre-printed, mass-produced fabric.. A separate print is generated for each side of the garment and requires a separate run through the press for each side. Results will vary minutely, but are considered a feature, rather than a flaw.
Colors are vivid and rich, and will remain that way.
